Passing
DJ Frank has rewritten the Storm Football Record book this season on his way to being the best Storm Football QB ever.  Take a look at his records so far:

Most yards in a Season – 634
Most Yards in a Game – 363
Most Attempts in a Season – 120
Most Attempts in a Game – 38
Most Completions in a Season – 43
Most Completions in a Game – 19
Highest Average per Completion in a Game– 20.2
Most TD’s in a Game – 3

Coach Wocker: This kid has so much further to go but is definitely on the right path.  He is tough as they come and has the ability to make all the throws on the football field.  It’s important for him not to get complacent in his play because he has a good backup who is very capable and ready for the challenge. 

Receiving

This year’s receiving group is one of the deepest I have ever seen.  With depth behind the leaders, each receiver has the ability to do big things on any given day.

Cush Hibbert
Most Receiving yards in a game – 199
Most Receptions in a game – 9
Most first Downs in a Game – 8

David Bar
Highest receiving average in a Game – 30.0
Most Touchdowns in a Season – 3

Coach Wocker:  We have a dynamic set of receivers who are capable of taking over and dominating a game.  Cush and David may lead the record stats but this team has 5 or 6 receivers who can put up big numbers in a hurry.  David and Cush are the cornerstones of a group with a whole lot of potential.

Defense

Jamie Tuck and Stephen Brown are trying to stamp the record books with their name all over it with one breaking the original record and the other breaking the new record almost weekly.

Coach Wocker:  These two are the leaders of a very active defensive group.  Coach Barrett has these guys flying to the ball and finishing the play.  They truly believe in the system and fly around to the ball with enthusiasm and passion that filters all over.  To quote Coach Barrett I’ll take my 12 vs any other 12 any day of the week and twice on Saturday’s.

DJ Frank

DJ may have shown the whole world that he is the toughest QB in the OVFL. Given the nick name Warrior in a game where he had a stellar performance all while getting crushed on almost every pass attempt, he has proven that he is a leader.
